Duong earned both his bachelor’s degree and his dental degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also completed a one-year training residency focused on extractions, the manipulation of biologics and soft tissue, and implant placement. Over time Dr. Jake discovered that his passion lies in wisdom teeth extraction. He is happy to be in the Austin area providing in-house surgical services and IV sedation for his fellow colleagues and their patients — including extractions and implant placement here at Chandler Creek Dental Care. He is committed to lifelong learning, is certified in oral and IV sedation, and earned his implant certification through the University of Miami School of Medicine’s Implant Dentistry Continuum.
